Office Administrator

                                          

Job Title: Office Administrator
Purpose: To provide an overview of client activity and manage client relationships
Reports to: Director

 

Main Responsibilities:
1. Practice Administration to include managing client due dates, email and telephone requests to clients for related information, ensure practice compliance with anti-money laundering regulations.
2. Sending communication to clients including management of IRIS and client onboarding
3. Chasing invoices
4. Liaising with clients
5. Coordinating with the team in arranging meetings
6. Booking and scheduling client meetings
7. Updating Social media accounts
8. Supporting in running events
9. Speaking to HMRC when needed
10. Taking office calls routed from reception
11. Checking office posts
12. Checking client payments
13. Day to day office management tasks

 

PERSON SPECIFICATION

Knowledge:
1. Understanding of Double Entry bookkeeping (preferred)
2. Understanding of Payroll processes (beneficial)
3. Good spoken and written English (essential)
4. Knowledge of systems (IRIS and Xero – beneficial)
Skills/attributes:
1 Organised
2 Ability to work independently and as part of a team
3 Good written and verbal communication skills
4 Attention to detail
Qualifications:
1. Graduation (essential)
2.
Experience:
1. Previous experience of working in an accountancy practice (proffered)
2. IRIS (beneficial)
3. Xero (beneficial)
4. Payroll experience (beneficial)

Accounts Manager

JOB DESCRIPTION           

Job Title: Accounts Manager
Purpose: To provide core accounting activities across our expanding client base
Reports to: Director

 

Main Responsibilities:
1. Preparation of Year-end Accounts and Management Accounts
2. Sending the communication to clients including management of IRIS and client onboarding
3. Bookkeeping to include adding receipts, generating invoices, reconciling accounts for clients
4. Payroll including entering information from emails and spreadsheets, checking information and generating payslips
5. Pensions – auto-enrolment tasks including setting clients upon systems, calculating required information and entering into payroll
6.

Quarterly VAT Returns – requesting information, compiling returns, obtaining

client authorisation and entering onto HMRC online.

7. Also, require making supplier payment runs.
8. Helping clients with VAT and PAYE Registrations
9 Liaising with HMRC on client’s behalf

 

PERSON SPECIFICATION

Knowledge:
